Domestic Assistant (Day)

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Rose Lodge Care Home for a Domestic Assistant (Day) to join their team in Newton Aycliffe, UK.

In this role, you will be a key part of the housekeeping team, keeping the care home clean, comfortable, and safe during day shifts. Working alongside the wider care team, you will ensure high standards of hygiene across all facilities to support the health and overall wellbeing of residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of resident bedrooms, bathrooms, en-suites, and shared living spaces.

• Ensure safe waste disposal and manage cleaning chemicals strictly in accordance with COSHH requirements.

• Restock paper products, clean home furnishings, and maintain clean, welcoming communal areas.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

• A caring, compassionate approach with a genuine interest in working in a social care environment.

• Eligibility to work in the UK and reside within a commutable distance of Newton Aycliffe, UK.
