Location: Avonbourne Care Centre (Bourne House), Mitre Way, Salisbury, SP4 6GW
Pay Rate: £15.97 per hour (Mon–Fri) / £16.37 per hour (Weekends)
Contract Type: Bank / 0 Hours per week (Flexible hours to support work-life balance)
About the Role
As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this premier not-for-profit provider to find an experienced Care Leader for Bourne House at Avonbourne Care Centre in Salisbury.
Located in historic Old Sarum, Avonbourne Care Centre provides compassionate, individualised care across welcoming households. Bourne House supports residents who need a little extra help to maintain their independence, and also houses our nursing household. In this leadership role, you will support the Home Manager, guide a small team of carers, and ensure exceptional standards of care, dignity, and independence are delivered to every resident.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a team of care assistants to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
Manage, review, and update resident care plans through continuous assessment and evaluation.
Balance team leadership and mentoring with direct, compassionate support for residents' daily needs.
Use your initiative to solve problems, handle queries, and foster a safe, positive living environment.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or NVQ Level 2 with a willingness to study towards Level 3).
Experience: Previous experience working in a residential care setting (supervisory experience such as leading inductions or 1-to-1s is a bonus, but not essential).
Attributes: A positive role model with strong communication skills, natural empathy, and the ability to lead and inspire others with confidence.
