Delivered in partnership with Ark Teacher Training, this 1-year school-based programme enables you to earn £24,444 while working toward a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
You will spend the vast majority of your time gaining hands-on classroom experience, putting pedagogical theory into practice, and building your confidence inside a supportive, welcoming secondary school community.

About the Placement School
Lift Ryde is an 11–18 secondary school situated in spacious grounds on the picturesque Isle of Wight (PO33 3LN). Candidate Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this Salaried Maths ITT position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Degree: An undergraduate degree (2:2 classification or above) completed by the start of the programme. A degree in Mathematics, STEM, or a related field is preferred (or a strong A-Level in Maths at Grade C or above).
GCSEs: Grade 4 (C) or higher in GCSE English & Mathematics (or equivalent).
Teaching Status: Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Work Rights: Right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the training year.
