Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Bradford Council to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Part-Time Leisure Attendant Teacher for Eccleshill Pool.
The Council's Leisure Service welcomes over 2 million customers annually across its sports centres, swimming pools, and halls. In this multifaceted role, you will deliver National Curriculum Key Stage 2 lessons to local schools and teach the Bradford Aquatics learn-to-swim scheme to residents of all abilities.
Reporting to the Duty Person and Operations Manager, you will help maintain daily facility operations while delivering exceptional customer service and instruction. Key responsibilities include:
Swimming Instruction: Teaching swimming skills and water safety to classes of varying abilities and competence levels, including both children and adults.
Lifeguarding & Facility Supervision: Maintaining general control and patrol of the facilities, covering lifeguard duties, and ensuring a safe environment for all visitors.
Operational Duties: Handling face-to-face customer enquiries, performing reception duties, setting up and dismantling equipment, and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the facility.
Daily Support: Completing routine daily operational tasks as directed by the Duty Person.
We are looking for a lively, customer-focused individual who meets the following essential criteria:
SEQ / ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher’s Qualification
Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
Enhanced DBS Check (required for successful appointment)
