Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Coordinator to join their supportive team in Dudley and Stourbridge, West Midlands.
In this rewarding role, you will support service users and their loved ones through their drug and alcohol treatment and recovery journey. No two days are the same: you will manage an active caseload, provide screenings, assessments, and recovery planning, and facilitate engaging group work and tailored workshops (such as anger management or sleep disorders) to help individuals build resilience, foster peer support, and lead meaningful, purposeful lives.
Caseload & Care Management: Manage an active caseload, providing screening, holistic assessment, care planning, risk reduction, and onward referrals from entry onwards.
Group Facilitation & Workshops: Design, prepare, and deliver structured content and tailored workshops within group settings, managing group dynamics and evaluating progress with co-facilitators.
Harm Reduction & Advocacy: Work to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community while providing advocacy for access to partnership services.
Social Reintegration: Empower service users to achieve social reintegration, self-determination, and long-term recovery.
Experience: Strong understanding of substance misuse issues with relevant experience working within a similar health and social care field.
Group Work Skills: Demonstrated experience of facilitating groups/pods and managing group dynamics, conflict, or challenging behaviour.
Communication & IT: Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong IT and time-management capabilities.
Requirements: Proactive, supportive team player committed to information governance, safeguarding, and continuous professional development. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK.
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year of service up to 30 days.
