Voyage Care is recruiting a Support Worker for its acquired brain injury (ABI) service in Dudley. You will help the people who live there build independence and confidence, working as part of a friendly team where no two days are alike.

What you will do:

Teach everyday life skills and help people reach personal goals, from cooking a meal to planning a holiday
Assist with personal care
Support people to get out into their community, attend appointments and enjoy activities such as meals out, films, gaming and cinema trips

What they are looking for: caring, hands-on people with a real wish to improve someone's quality of life. Full training is given from induction onwards, with routes to promotion. All offers depend on satisfactory DBS checks and references.

Hours: 35 hours a week, permanent and full time. Typical shifts run Monday to Sunday, 8am to 3pm and 3pm to 10pm.

Pay and benefits stated by Voyage Care:

£12.72 per hour, plus an extra 50p per hour for evenings and weekends and an extra £1 per hour for overtime (terms apply)
