Salary: £12.80 - £13.80 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time (40 hours per week, 08:00 - 18:00, 4 days a week including alternate weekends)

The Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will act as the vital link between the main kitchen and our residents, supporting our talented chefs in delivering delicious, nutritious meals and maintaining pristine preparation areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the chefs with plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and ensuring all food preparation areas are kept clean, safe, and tidy.
Monitor stock rotation strictly, complying with company policies, COSHH, and HACCP guidelines.
Help cater for special events, seasonal gatherings, summer BBQs, and celebrations.
Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and care teams, engaging warmly with residents during mealtimes.
What We Are Looking For
A genuine passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen environment and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, community-focused attitude.
A strong commitment to upholding high hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
