Position: Bank Care Assistant / Carer

Location: Lewin House, 61 Belgrave Road, Aylesbury, HP19 9HP

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

About the Role

As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this leading not-for-profit provider to find compassionate bank care assistants for Lewin House in Aylesbury.

Lewin House is a modern, spacious care home featuring 70 individual rooms spread across four wings, each equipped with specialist nursing units designed for effective care delivery. With plenty of indoor and outdoor communal spaces, residents enjoy a vibrant, stimulating schedule of activities. Whether you are an experienced care professional or completely new to the sector, you will make a genuine, daily impact by supporting personal care, daily routines, and sharing meaningful companionship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide respectful, person-centred personal care (including washing, bathing, and toileting support).

  • Build meaningful, lasting relationships with residents to support their daily wellbeing and independence.

  • Bring kindness, exceptional care, and dignity to the home environment.

  • Communicate effectively as part of a collaborative, supportive team.

  • Experience: Open to both experienced carers and those new to care who bring diverse life experience and a caring heart.

  • Attributes: Great communication skills, natural empathy, and a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults.

  • Readiness: A willingness to learn, complete comprehensive induction training, and build a rewarding career path with ongoing development.
