Scrub Nurse - Endoscopy and Minor Procedures Unit (Bank)

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is delighted to assist a leading healthcare facility in finding an experienced Scrub Nurse / ODP to join their dedicated team in Oxford, UK. In this role, you will deliver exceptional clinical care within high-spec Endoscopy and Day Case Units, working alongside top medical consultants.

Operating on a flexible bank contract basis, you will provide critical perioperative support on an ad-hoc schedule. You will work autonomously within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, ensuring evidence-based clinical practices and patient-focused care across diverse specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality scrub support for endoscopy and minor surgical procedures using advanced medical equipment.

• Supervise, mentor, and assist in the development of junior clinical staff members.

• Collaborate closely with surgeons, consultants, and ward colleagues to ensure seamless care continuity for patients.

Requirements

• Active registration with the NMC (as a Registered General Nurse) or HCPC (as an Operating Department Practitioner).

• Proven post-registration scrub experience within a hospital or surgical setting.

• Excellent interpersonal, team-working, and communication capabilities.
