Exciting changes are happening! Newlands Care Centre is getting a fresh new look with stunning refurbishments currently underway, making this the ideal time to join our growing team.
Working as a permanent Care Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive the quality care and support they deserve. Every day is wonderfully varied—from assisting with daily living routines, food and nutrition, and tailored care plans to providing warm companionship, dedicated one-to-one time, and sharing great memories.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Provide compassionate, high-quality care and support to elderly residents.
Assist with daily living activities, personal care routines, and food and drink intake.
Deliver meaningful companionship and ensure each resident receives dedicated one-to-one time.
Follow individual care plans accurately and adapt to a dynamic daily routine across flexible day or night shifts.
Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)
Some previous experience in caring for older people.
A proactive, positive "can-do" approach to daily challenges.
Excellent communication skills and a natural, warm-hearted disposition.
Genuine empathy, resilience, and compassion.
