Role Description
Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking an ambitious and experienced Unit Nurse Manager (RGN) on behalf of our client for Flowerdown Care Home in Winchester, Hampshire. In this leadership position, you will oversee, plan, and monitor the delivery of outstanding person-centred nursing care on your unit, leading a dedicated care team and driving continuous quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and monitor individual care plans and risk assessments to ensure high-quality, clinical care.
Lead daily operations including staff rota planning, recruitment, training, and clinical mentoring for junior nurses.
Build strong professional relationships with local regulatory bodies, social services, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Requirements
Active NMC Registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
Strong leadership experience, ideally having acted as a clinical mentor or preceptorship supervisor.
Up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and regulatory standards (including DoLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines).
