Are you a polite, responsible driver with a friendly demeanor who wants to help care home residents stay connected, independent, and active?
We are partnering with Puttenham Hill House (part of Bupa) to find a reliable and customer-focused Driver for a flexible bank role. In this position, you will operate the care home minibus to transport residents safely, support them on exciting day trips, and play a vital role in helping them get the most out of life.
Driving the care home minibus for residents (day and night) to and from local pickup points and transport links.
Transporting residents out on engaging day trips and social outings (with opportunities to complete Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme / MiDAS training).
Ensuring the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of all passengers while building trusting, respectful relationships.
A full, clean UK driving licence with a polite, courteous, and can-do approach.
Experience working in a customer-focused environment with a proven ability to build trusting rapport with people.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a strong sense of responsibility behind the wheel.
Desirable: First aid training, previous experience driving groups of people, or familiarity with wheelchair restraint systems and vehicle tail-lifts.
