Location: Bupa Place, 102 The Quays, Salford, M50 3SP (Hybrid: 3 days working from home)

Salary: Starting from £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + 10% Management Bonus Scheme

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Are you an experienced commercial professional with a strong background in IT supplier management, regulatory compliance, and driving value-based delivery?

We are partnering with Bupa to find a strategic Supplier Relationship Manager for their corporate support functions at Bupa Place in Salford. In this impactful role, you will maximize in-contract relationships with Bupa's strategic IT suppliers, ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating risk, and extracting optimal value to support customer-facing colleagues across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing post-contract award onboarding, supplier performance, and ongoing relationships under Bupa’s Supplier Management Framework.

• Leading regular governance review meetings to monitor SLA performance, cost reductions, continuous improvement, and FCA/PRA compliance (where applicable).

• Owning and managing supplier risk profiles, conducting due diligence and assurance reviews, and leading root cause analysis for operational incidents.

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive innovation, market benchmarking, category strategy, and business efficiencies.

• Developing continuous improvement plans for service, cost, and risk, while instigating action plans to remedy poor supplier performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing suppliers against regulatory requirements (such as FCA SYSC 8/13 and PRA handbooks) and working with outsourced service providers.

• Strong commercial awareness with a demonstrable track record of value-based delivery, contract drafting, and negotiation.

• Background in supplier assurance, audit, risk management frameworks, or professional procurement.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of an organisation.
