Francis House Children's Hospice in Didsbury, Manchester, is looking for a doctor to join its small visiting medical team. You would share a 24-hour on-call rota, visiting the hospice on your on-call days and giving phone advice, including support at the end of a child's life.

Pay: £2,317 per calendar month
Contract: Self-employed contract for services (not employment), 24-hour on-call rota
Location: Francis House Children's Hospice, 390 Parrswood Road, Didsbury, Manchester M20 5NA

What the employer is asking for:

• Full GMC registration and licence to practise

• Substantial recent experience as a GP or generalist doctor

• Able to work independently and make decisions in urgent situations

• Your own professional indemnity insurance

• Able to reach the hospice quickly when on call

• Enhanced DBS and other pre-start checks
