Position: Bank Housekeeper
Location: Avonbourne Care Centre (Bourne House), Mitre Way, Salisbury, SP4 6GW
Pay Rate: £13.01 per hour (Mon–Fri) / £13.41 per hour (Weekends)
Contract Type: Bank / 0 Hours per week (Flexible hours to cover annual leave and sickness)
About the Role
As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are delighted to partner with this premier not-for-profit provider to find a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper for Bourne House at Avonbourne Care Centre in Salisbury.
Located in historic Old Sarum, Avonbourne Care Centre provides compassionate, individualised care across welcoming households. Bourne House supports residents who need a little extra help to maintain their independence, alongside a specialist nursing household. As our Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring that every room and living space is safe, welcoming, and comfortable. You might even find some residents eager to help out with simple tasks as you go about your day!
Key Responsibilities
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control across all rooms and living areas.
Use specialised cleaning equipment and materials to ensure a safe, hygienic environment.
Interact warmly and sensitively with residents, encouraging light participation in simple housekeeping or laundry tasks where appropriate.
Work collaboratively as part of an extended family team dedicated to resident wellbeing.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is fantastic, but if you are new to housekeeping, we provide full training to help you start your career!
Attributes: A caring, sensitive approach to working in an elderly care setting, pride in your work, excellent communication skills, and a strong team spirit.
