As a Maintenance Assistant/Gardener at Tennyson Wharf Care Home, you will help create the safe, attractive, and welcoming surroundings that enable our residents to thrive. In this varied and fulfilling role, you will maintain our buildings and grounds to the highest possible standards.
Key Responsibilities
Property Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep across the care home buildings to ensure a safe, secure environment.
Gardening & Groundskeeping: Maintain beautiful outdoor spaces and gardens, providing a peaceful and enjoyable environment for residents and visitors.
Standards & Safety: Ensure all facilities and grounds meet strict safety guidelines and pristine presentation standards.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous practical experience in maintenance and gardening.
Personality: A caring, patient nature and a genuine interest in the well-being of the residents we support.
Approach: Strong attention to detail, a proactive work ethic, and a friendly attitude. Full training and development will be provided to ensure you feel completely confident in your role!
