Pay Rate: £14.24 per hour (Overtime paid at time-and-a-quarter after 48 hours)
Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 3 nights per week, Thursday to Saturday (05:30 – 05:00)

Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their major Manton Wood facility in Worksop—home to a team of around 1,700 colleagues producing sandwiches and wraps for top retailers like Co-op, Asda, Morrisons, Boots, Aldi, and Lidl—we are currently seeking a reliable Hygiene Operator for the night shift team. The site also features fantastic on-site amenities including a gym, a hot-food restaurant, and a staff shop!
Key Responsibilities
Deep Cleaning & Sanitation: Undertake rigorous hygiene tasks, including deep cleaning and sanitizing equipment and production areas to the highest standards.
Chemical Handling & COSHH: Use all cleaning chemicals safely and appropriately in strict compliance with COSHH regulations.
Inspection & Escalation: Review equipment during cleaning, highlight any damage or risks, and escalate issues to the appropriate personnel.
Documentation & Safety: Complete hygiene paperwork accurately, follow standard operating procedures, and promote a strong Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) culture.
What We Are Looking For
Full on-the-job training is provided. The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience: Previous experience in warehouse hygiene duties, cleaning, or a food production environment is preferred, but not essential.
Communication & Skills: Effective reading and writing abilities to complete logbooks and paperwork accurately according to company standards.
Work Ethic: Strong commitment to manual handling safety, health and safety awareness, and attention to detail.
