Position: Night Care Leader / Bank Night Care Leader
Location: Avonbourne Care Centre (Avon Court & Bourne House), Old Sarum, Salisbury
Pay Rate: £16.90 per hour (Monday–Friday) | £17.30 per hour (Weekends)
Contract Type: Bank (Flexible hours to cover annual leave and sickness)
About the Role
As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are partnering with this esteemed, not-for-profit care provider to find an experienced, compassionate Night Care Leader.
Working through the night, you will lead a small, dedicated team of carers to ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of residents. You will oversee care plans, keep accurate records, and use your supportive leadership style to motivate your team. Beyond the daily duties, you'll help create a warm, engaging environment where residents can feel at home and make lasting memories.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a night care team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.
Maintain a wakeful watch over the safety and security of residents and the care home.
Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed and documentation is kept accurate.
Manage team time effectively to meet the individual needs of residents with residential, nursing, or dementia care requirements.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous care experience, with a desire to step up into a leadership role.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or NVQ Level 2 with a willingness to study for Level 3).
Attributes: A positive role model with natural empathy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for elderly care.
