Join our maintenance and support team bank in Leek. Following a paid two-week induction, you will have total flexibility to manage your shifts while ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients and staff.
What You Will Be Doing
Drive patients, staff, and visitors safely and punctually within Leek and across other parts of England and Wales using the most efficient routes.
Plan journeys in advance and maintain proper vehicle record-keeping and fuel management.
Ensure hospital vehicles are regularly cleaned, properly maintained, and safe, reporting any damage or faults immediately.
Handle occasional short-notice or emergency journeys spontaneously, coordinating closely with the team when required.
Key Skills & Qualifications
A clean, full UK driving licence with a proven track record of safe driving.
Strong team-working skills combined with high self-motivation and a flexible approach.
A positive attitude, naturally caring and compassionate disposition, and reliable time management.

Ballington House in Leek, Staffordshire (ST13 5LW) is a 13-bed mental health rehabilitation hospital providing specialized care for women with complex mental health needs. The service follows a structured three-phase pathway—from assessment and rehabilitation to community preparation—helping residents progress toward complete self-reliance, supported by an expert multidisciplinary team.
