Position: Permanent Support Worker
Location: Hayward Care Centre, Corn Croft Lane, Devizes, SN10 2FR
Pay Rate: £13.67 per hour (with higher rates of pay at weekends)
Contract Type: Permanent / 36 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Working alternate weekends)
About the Role
As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this leading not-for-profit provider to find a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker for Hayward Care Centre in Devizes.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping residents lead happy, fulfilled, and independent lives. Whether you are assisting with daily routines, personal care, providing companionship, or joining in with fun activities and light household duties, your kindness and positive energy will make a genuine difference every single day.
Key Responsibilities
Support residents with daily routines, personal care, and independent living skills.
Provide meaningful companionship and encourage participation in engaging, fun activities.
Assist with light household tasks, ensuring living spaces are clean, tidy, and comfortable while involving residents where appropriate.
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive extended family team dedicated to high standards of care.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: Ideally holding (or willing to work towards) a Diploma / NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Experience: A proven track record in elderly care and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care standards for older people.
Attributes: A positive role model with excellent communication skills, natural empathy, and a strong desire to learn and excel in your career.
