In this pivotal leadership role, you will lead and supervise a dedicated care unit, ensuring that all residents receive exemplary physical, medical, and emotional support. You will oversee daily unit operations, manage personalized care plans, direct admissions, and administer medication while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for both staff and residents.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the care unit team, delegating workloads fairly while fostering a collaborative, supportive, and informative environment.
Conduct comprehensive physical and psychological risk assessments to create and manage individual resident care plans and oversee admissions.
Ensure high standards of safety, dignity, and care delivery, including accurate medication administration and working alongside leadership to enhance service quality.
Requirements
Essential NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
Strong leadership, organizational, and IT skills with a proven track record of building trusted relationships among staff and residents.
