About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Shift Manager to support Greggs at their Vanguard Avenue shop in Coventry and nearby locations across the Coventry area.
In this leadership position, you will take charge of shop operations whenever the Shop Manager is away. You will engage, motivate, and direct the team while ensuring an exceptional experience for customers across all ordering channels—in-store, Click + Collect, delivery, and drive-thru.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Inspire and guide team members to deliver outstanding service and maintain high shop standards.
Customer Service: Lead by example on the shop floor by serving customers in a fast, friendly, and welcoming manner.
Food Preparation & Merchandising: Oversee sandwich preparation, manage oven operations, and keep food displays fully stocked and presentable.
Shop Maintenance & Support: Ensure the shop remains clean, tidy, and compliant with operational standards, while providing mobile support across shops in the Coventry area as needed.
Working Hours & Mobility Requirements
Contract Hours: 16 to 30 hours per week (Permanent)
Availability Window: Must be available for shift windows between 4:00 AM and 8:30 PM.
Travel: Ability to travel to help support multiple shops in the Coventry area.
What We Are Looking For
Previous team supervisory or shift management experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
Reliable individual with natural leadership capabilities and strong communication skills.
Flexibility and willingness to travel across the Coventry area to support local shop teams.
