About the Role
As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are delighted to partner with Morrisons—the UK’s 5th largest supermarket—to find a high-performing Trading Manager for their Dalkeith store.
Making sure stores are fully stocked and impeccably organized is vital to an exceptional customer experience. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will take ownership of maintaining market-leading product availability and pristine standards across all departments, ensuring that the store remains legal, safe, and customer-focused at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Availability & Standards: Drive market-leading availability, organize promotions, and manage in-store events to give every customer a fantastic shopping experience.
Team Leadership & People Operations: Manage department scheduling, absences, performance reviews, and talent development while leading a supportive, high-performing team.
Training & Development: Deliver hands-on training to build team confidence, capability, and purpose across various store operations.
Customer Focus: Listen actively and respond effectively to customer feedback to continuously improve daily retail operations.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Build effective working relationships with other operating departments and store managers to hit performance targets.
