About the Role

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are excited to partner with Morrisons to recruit a friendly, hands-on Customer Assistant for their Market Street and Café team in Hinckley. In this vibrant role, you will prepare and serve the fresh, high-quality food Morrisons is famous for—whether crafting fresh pizzas, prepping meat and fish on Market Street, or serving warm meals in the Café to make every customer's day special.

Key Responsibilities

• Fresh Food Preparation & Service: Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality food items across Market Street and the Café following structured routines.

• Customer Interaction: Deliver a helpful, friendly approach to assist shoppers, serve meals, and resolve queries efficiently.

• Equipment Safety & Processes: Use store equipment safely and adhere strictly to operational processes.

• Cross-Functional Teamwork: Receive training to support other store departments, such as Replenishment and Customer Service, ensuring flexibility wherever needed.

• Age Requirement: Must be over the school leaver’s age (and over 18 for certain equipment/health and safety requirements).

• Personality: A genuinely helpful, friendly attitude with a passion for putting customers first.

• Work Style: Enjoys staying active, being hands-on, and thriving in a busy, structured environment.

• Availability: Flexible to work part-time hours across Monday to Sunday shifts between 08:00 and 19:00.
