We are currently recruiting on behalf of Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd—the UK’s leading provider of community equipment services to the NHS and local authorities—as they look for a dedicated Technician Team Leader to join their leadership team at the Norfolk Depot in Norwich.
About the Role
As a Technician Team Leader, you will be an integral part of the management team, responsible for driving excellence in quality and service through a field-based team of technical colleagues. You will oversee daily and weekly workload planning, ensure Key Performance and Quality Indicators (KPIs/KQIs) are consistently met, and support the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members.
This role blends operational management, data analysis, and cross-departmental collaboration with warehouse and service leadership to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-focused healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of field-based technical colleagues to deliver a high-quality service.
Plan daily and weekly workloads effectively, integrating closely with service and warehouse leadership.
Drive the achievement of Key Performance and Quality Indicators (KPIs and KQIs).
Manage end-to-end debrief processes and review quality performance alongside the Operations Support Manager.
Handle the recruitment, onboarding, and structured training of new and enhanced team members (Enhanced TSE).
Provide short-notice site management cover and support contract senior management as required.
