About the Role
We are recruiting a permanent Care Home Deputy Manager to join the team at Ashfields Care Home in Norwich.
Working closely alongside the General Manager and stepping into full leadership duties in their absence, you will inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care. You will drive clinical excellence, manage regulatory compliance, and champion a vibrant, high-performing environment where residents thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Support operational leadership and deputise for the General Manager as required.
Lead and motivate care teams through supervised clinical practice, regular audits, and active quality assurance.
Oversee regulatory compliance, clinical risk assessments, and safeguarding investigations.
Assist in managing home budgets, recruitment, HR processes, and local sales/marketing initiatives.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals.
About You
To excel as Care Home Deputy Manager, you will bring:
Proven experience supporting residents with diverse health and social care needs.
A strong track record of leading clinical risk assessments and managing safeguarding investigations.
Practical understanding of HR, budget monitoring, and care home occupancy/marketing strategies.
