Salary: £25,313 - £27,616 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
Are you passionate about making a lasting, positive impact on vulnerable young lives? We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the experienced team at Five Rivers Child Care Ltd (Willow View School & 1 ACE Provision) in Rochdale.
In this rewarding, trauma-informed role, you will support teachers both in our Ofsted-registered school and locally within our 1 ACE (Another Chance Education) alternative provision. Working within a therapeutic framework, you will help children and young people—many of whom struggle in formal settings—unlock their passion for learning and navigate their education with stability and care.
Support teachers by assisting in classrooms and out in the community, following a flexible structure.
Work closely with children and young people within a trauma-informed, therapeutic practice model.
Support local 1 ACE alternative education outreach and school provisions when required.
Help children build trust, resilience, and a renewed enthusiasm for learning.
Collaborate with an experienced, supportive leadership team committed to student welfare and mutual respect.
Experience working within a specialist education provision, alternative setting, or a strong passion for making a difference.
Valid Right to Work in the UK (a valid UK driving licence is desirable).
