Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Morrisons to find a skilled Market Street Baker at Victoria Promenade in Northampton.

As the face of our fresh in-store bakery, you will ensure high product availability, craft traditional baked goods, and deliver outstanding, friendly service to every customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure customer confidence by maintaining high availability of fresh, top-quality bakery products.

• Maintain clean, fresh, and attractive displays of food throughout the trading day to promote sales.

• Prepare bakery products to company specifications using specialized equipment (such as provers, ovens, and mixers) and professional baking skills to create a variety of breads, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited items.

• Deliver friendly, helpful service that highlights traditional baking skills and creates moments that matter for our shoppers.

• Work flexibly across other fresh counters on Market Street to ensure all customer needs are met.

About You

We are looking for hands-on, friendly individuals who are passionate about baking and customer care. To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Competent baker skills, including the ability to mix and mould dough to make various bakery products.

• Professional baking experience, whether as a trained baker or from a commercial bakery/kitchen environment.

• A helpful, friendly approach with a passion for going above and beyond for customers.

• An active, hands-on work ethic suited for a fast-paced retail environment.

• The ability to use specialized equipment safely while maintaining high standards of Health & Safety.

• Note: Candidates must be over the school leaver’s age.
