As a Registered Nurse (Day Shift), you will take overall responsibility for shift leadership, clinical governance, and resident well-being during day hours. Working collaboratively with external multidisciplinary teams, GPs, and care colleagues, you will oversee complex clinical procedures while maintaining strict safeguarding and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as Nurse in Charge during day shifts, managing medication administration via PCS, care planning, and shift management.
Perform complex clinical duties including syringe driver management, catheterization, blood sampling, peg feeding, and stoma care.
Lead care delivery for residents with complex needs and dementia, upholding the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
Requirements
Nursing qualification recognized by the UK NMC with a valid UK NMC PIN (RGN, RMN, or RNLD).
Strong clinical decision-making capabilities, experience with Care Planning systems (PCS system experience preferred), and nursing home clinical experience.
Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute reliably to Poynton, UK.
