Registered Nurse (Nurse Qualified)

As a Registered Nurse (Day Shift), you will take overall responsibility for shift leadership, clinical governance, and resident well-being during day hours. Working collaboratively with external multidisciplinary teams, GPs, and care colleagues, you will oversee complex clinical procedures while maintaining strict safeguarding and infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Nurse in Charge during day shifts, managing medication administration via PCS, care planning, and shift management.

• Perform complex clinical duties including syringe driver management, catheterization, blood sampling, peg feeding, and stoma care.

• Lead care delivery for residents with complex needs and dementia, upholding the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).

Requirements

• Nursing qualification recognized by the UK NMC with a valid UK NMC PIN (RGN, RMN, or RNLD).

• Strong clinical decision-making capabilities, experience with Care Planning systems (PCS system experience preferred), and nursing home clinical experience.

• Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute reliably to Poynton, UK.
