Role Overview
Position: Administration Assistant
Location: The Cedars, High Street, Purton, SN5 4AF
Pay Rate: £13.68 per hour (Higher weekend pay rates available)
Contract Type: Permanent, 28 hours per week
Closing Date: Monday, 31st August 2026

What You Will Be Doing
Supporting the Home Manager with reception duties, general administration, and basic finance tasks to ensure the home runs smoothly.
Acting as the friendly, professional first point of contact for all visitors, families, and staff members.
Ensuring visitor compliance with infection control protocols, coordinating testing requirements, handling couriers, and keeping reports up to date.
Assisting with the planning and management of fun home events, including celebrating milestone birthdays, fetes, and staff presentations.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous administrative or reception experience, with confidence in using Microsoft Office, handling cash, and maintaining reports. GCSE Maths and English are ideal.
Key Traits: Comfortable working in an elderly care setting, able to relate to residents with sensitivity, and highly organized with fantastic communication and interpersonal skills.
