About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with a leading, purpose-driven community food store to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Store Manager for our location at The Marque in Cambridge.
In this vital leadership role, you will take full ownership of your store’s performance, driving both commercial success and community strategies. By building, coaching, and developing a high-performing team, you will create a positive environment where colleagues thrive and customers enjoy a fantastic shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Culture: Lead, coach, and develop your team, building an inclusive, high-performing culture where colleagues feel valued, supported, and confident to speak up.
Commercial Performance: Take total ownership of store performance, using commercial insights and data to drive sales, improve results, and ensure smooth operations.
Store Safety & Compliance: Make sure your store is completely safe, legal, and running efficiently at all times.
People Management: Manage the full recruitment, development, and HR processes for your team.
Community & Membership: Champion local causes, grow Co-op membership and services, and bring the store's purpose to life locally.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Proven experience leading and developing a team in a busy, service-focused retail environment.
Core Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, resilience in a fast-paced setting, a hands-on approach, and the flexibility to support the team when needed.
Commercial Acumen: The ability to understand and utilize commercial information to make sound decisions and improve performance.
Communication: A confident, inspirational communicator who can coach and motivate others to perform at their best.
