We are acting on behalf of Alliance Medical Ltd—Europe's leading independent provider of diagnostic imaging services—to recruit a skilled and motivated Administrator / Healthcare Assistant to join their dedicated team at Northampton General Hospital.
In this dual-focused role, you will serve as a welcoming, patient-facing presence to meet and greet visitors, while efficiently coordinating telephone bookings and administrative workflows. 1. Patient Interaction & Booking Management
Meet and greet patients attending the imaging services, providing a warm, professional, and reassuring patient-facing experience.
Handle telephone bookings and patient inquiries with clarity, empathy, and professional efficiency.
Offer support and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
2. Administration & Systems Organization
Maintain well-structured electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring accurate data management and computer file organization.
Utilize Microsoft Office and internal digital systems to handle administrative tasks, schedules, and records.
Manage multiple priorities effectively, maintaining composure, accuracy, and attention to detail under pressure.
Essential Criteria
IT & Admin Skills: Strong IT literacy, proven experience using Microsoft Office, and the ability to organize digital files and office filing systems efficiently.
Communication & Service: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrable talent for customer service and patient engagement.
Competencies: Highly organized, flexible, enthusiastic, and capable of multi-tasking and working well under pressure.
Vetting: Ability to successfully complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
