We are currently recruiting an inspiring and dedicated Bank Senior Care Assistant on behalf of Barchester Healthcare for Collingtree Park Care Home in Northampton, Northamptonshire.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Bank Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supervising care teams and delivering exceptional, person-centred care. Working alongside the Deputy General Manager and clinical staff across 12-hour shifts (08:00–20:00 or 20:00–08:00), you will oversee care routines, support key clinical areas like medication management and care planning, and enjoy total flexibility over your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, guide, and inspire a team of Care Assistants to maintain high care standards across the home.

• Support clinical management with medication administration, care reviews, assessments, and care plan updates.

• Deliver direct person-centred care, ensuring resident dignity, respect, and preferences are always upheld.

• Assist in creating a warm, vibrant, and welcoming atmosphere for residents and their families.

• Step in during planned or short-notice shift gaps to ensure smooth operational cover across 12-hour day or night shifts.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a warm-hearted, compassionate senior carer with strong leadership skills and clinical knowledge.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

• Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of clinical care practices for older adults.

• Leadership: Proven ability to mentor, motivate, and supervise care staff.

• Attributes: Compassionate, dedicated, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
