Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of Supportive Bridge Limited for an experienced and dedicated Senior Physiotherapist to join their clinical team at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, UK.
In this hybrid clinical role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across both musculoskeletal (MSK) outpatients and inpatient surgical wards (Orthopedics & General Surgery). Working up to 37.5 hours per week with flexible full-time or part-time scheduling (including Friday ward coverage and weekend rota participation), you will play a key role in supporting post-operative recovery and rehabilitation.
Role Description
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of MSK conditions and post-operative surgical cases. Supported by a Regional Clinical Lead and dedicated hospital mentors, you will collaborate with nurses, consultants, and AHPs to deliver holistic care while maintaining clinical governance and quality audit standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based clinical care and rehabilitation across MSK outpatient clinics and inpatient orthopaedic and general surgery wards.
Participate in weekend ward rotas, conduct patient chest auscultations when required, and ensure compliance with clinical governance and audit standards.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary hospital team, mentor junior staff, and utilize protected CPD time to maintain clinical excellence.
Requirements
BSc degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with active registration with the HCPC and CSP.
Minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience across both MSK outpatients and inpatient ward settings.
Strong MSK and orthopaedic clinical knowledge, chest auscultation skills, and familiarity with both NHS and private healthcare pathways.
