About the Role

Are you ready to step up into leadership and take the next step toward managing your own store? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Co-op to recruit a proactive and community-focused Customer Team Leader for their store in Ebbsfleet.

In this part-time permanent role, you’ll lead a small team in a fast-paced environment, setting the pace on the shop floor and tills while helping deliver essential services and making life easier for your local community. Depending on your store, this could involve working in the post office, bakery, or supporting online services and home delivery drivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading and motivating the team on your shift.

• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.

• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, setting a high standard for customer service and efficient operations.

• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.

• Authorise age-related sales (applicants must be aged 18 or over).

• Champion Co-op membership growth and community engagement with local and national charities.

What We Are Looking For

• Age Requirement: Must be aged 18 or over to authorise age-related sales.

• Leadership Potential: A true passion for people, coaching, and leading by example.

• Flexibility & Working Pattern: Varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview.

• Skills & Experience: Skills in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential).
