About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Greencore (following their recent combination with Bakkavor) to find dedicated logistics talent. Greencore is a market-leading creator of convenience food, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their major Manton 110 picking depot in Worksop, a team of over 200 colleagues operates a fleet of 60+ vehicles to serve major convenience retailers across the region. We are currently seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their fast-paced cold store warehouse team on the afternoon shift.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking: Accurately pick customer orders within a cold store warehouse environment using modern "voice pick" technology.
Pallet Management: Place picked items onto appropriate delivery pallets, accurately mark order sizes on delivery notes, and ensure all trays are neatly stacked in designated areas.
Deadline Management: Thrive in a fast-paced setting, meeting tight, time-sensitive delivery schedules for next-day customer orders.
Inventory & Reporting: Log product shortages and report them directly to the depot management team at the end of each shift.
Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the depot and strictly adhere to all health, safety, and PPE guidelines.
