As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Barchester Healthcare to find a dedicated Laundry Assistant for Port Manor Care Home.

In this vital support role, you will help make sure our residents receive quality care in the best possible surroundings. By ensuring every resident has clean, fresh clothing and bedding, you will play a direct part in helping everyone feel comfortable, respected, and truly at home. Your daily responsibilities will include sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and contributing to the overall immaculate look and feel of the care home. It's a fantastic way to understand how a care home runs smoothly and can open doors to future career development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sorting, washing, drying, and ironing residents' clothing and home linens efficiently.

• Ensuring high hygiene and infection control standards are maintained at all times.

• Contributing to the warm, clean, and welcoming environment of the care home.

• Working collaboratively with the wider care and support team.
