Location: Boston (Home to a team of around 400 colleagues producing ready-to-eat salads, prepared vegetables, and snacks for major retailers like Co-op, Boots, Greggs, Costco, Spar, and BOL)
Pay Rate: £13.97 per hour
Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 3s and 2s, 06:00 to 18:00 (Days)

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Greencore (following their combination with Bakkavor) to find dedicated production talent. Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their Boston facility, we are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Skilled Production Operative (Senior Operator) for the day shift to operate machinery, monitor production workflows, and help drive efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing targets.
Key Responsibilities
Machinery & Line Operation: Operate and monitor production machinery, handle ingredients accurately, and support the line to meet daily production deadlines.
Quality & Documentation: Perform essential quality checks, maintain strict production standards, and complete all required production and safety paperwork.
Safety, Hygiene & Mentorship: Maintain a clean, hygienic working environment, follow all health and safety procedures, and help train and mentor new operatives.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential, preferably working with salads or fresh produce, alongside experience operating or supervising production machinery/lines.
Core Skills: Good verbal, written, and numerical skills, a flexible approach to shifts, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude focused on safety and quality.
