About the Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with DoctorPA Secure LTD—an experienced provider of primary care in secure environments since 2014—to source a dedicated General Practitioner for HMP Lincoln. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in improving health outcomes, reducing health inequalities, and delivering continuity of care for patients with complex health and social care needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive GP services, including consultations, clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and specialist referrals.

• Manage a broad spectrum of acute presentations, chronic diseases, and mental health conditions.

• Support substance misuse management and assist with patient detoxification pathways.

• Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team of nurses, mental health professionals, pharmacists, and external providers.

• Participate actively in clinical audits, risk assessments, safeguarding processes, and clinical governance activities.

• Maintain accurate, thorough clinical records utilizing the prison's electronic health record system.

Person Specification & Requirements

• Qualifications & Registration: Fully qualified General Practitioner with current GMC registration and a valid licence to practise in the UK.

• Clinical Skills: Sound clinical decision-making, excellent patient management skills, and strong understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.

• Desirable Experience: Background working in secure units, prison healthcare, or with vulnerable populations; additional qualifications in substance misuse (e.g., RCGP part 1 & 2), mental health, or sexual health.

• Compliance: Subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
