Barchester is seeking an experienced and compassionate Night Senior Carer to join the team at Raleigh Manor Care Home. In this full-time night role, you will look after the diverse needs of residents overnight, supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants, and provide vital support to the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and inspire a dedicated night team of Care Assistants to ensure continuous, high-quality person-centred care.
Clinical Support: Assist the clinical team with specialized tasks overnight, such as medication management, assessments, care plans, and care reviews.
Resident Wellbeing: Champion resident dignity, independence, and personal preferences while helping maintain a calm, secure, and welcoming environment through the night.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and management to ensure seamless, top-tier care delivery.
About You
To thrive as a Night Senior Carer, you will bring:
An NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Specific, practical knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
A warm-hearted, compassionate nature with a strong commitment to individualized support.
Proven leadership qualities and a desire to progress your career (with clear pathways into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or formal nursing roles).
