About the Role
We are recruiting a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker on a permanent basis on behalf of St Mary’s Hospital in Warrington—a specialist facility providing low stimulus, spacious care environments for individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI), progressive neurological conditions, Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), and Deaf Mental Health problems.
Working as an integral part of a strong multidisciplinary team, you will manage a complex caseload and take responsibility for social care assessments, risk assessments, pre-admissions, and discharge planning. You will also liaise closely with home authorities, service users, and families while providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.
What You Will Need
Qualifications: CQSW, CSS, DipSW, or a recognized Degree in Social Work.
Experience: Previous professional social work experience gained within the NHS or private healthcare sector, with a proven background in managing complex caseloads.
Attributes: High confidence, strong collaborative and communication skills, and a commitment to fully engaging in required training such as Breakaway and MVA training.
Proximity & Availability: A genuine dedication to supporting vulnerable adults, and living within a manageable commute of Warrington (WA2 8DB).
