Job Title: Mammographer
Location: Bupa Health Centre, Chester, CH1
Salary: £18,400 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time (16 hours per week)
Eligibility Note: Applications are considered from registered and qualified Mammographers based within the UK.
As a Mammographer at Bupa, you will work autonomously yet collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment designed for a better breast care pathway, you will ensure patients receive a fast, efficient, and highly sensitive service from screening to treatment planning.
Patient Screening: Perform high-quality examinations and screenings on-site on the day of health assessments, ensuring patients are treated with the utmost standard of care.
Data & Quality Management: Accurately analyze acquired data, record results, produce high-quality images for reporting, and support quality/compliance policies.
Department Efficiency: Organize daily work programs, maintain equipment care, uphold cleanliness standards, and manage resource stock control.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Centre Manager, Clinical Lead, and Lead Mammographer to streamline the patient pathway and adapt flexibly to changing workloads.
Required Qualifications: A BSc or DCR in Radiography alongside a Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography.
Registration: Must be a registered and qualified Mammographer within the UK.
