We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic Deputy Hospitality Manager to join the team at the newly refurbished Lilleshall National Sports Centre.
In this vital role, you will help deliver memorable hospitality experiences across weddings, private parties, conferences, and bar operations. Supporting the Hospitality Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring every event runs seamlessly while maintaining exceptional standards of service, care, and customer satisfaction.
As a Deputy Hospitality Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Event Delivery: Support the planning, preparation, and execution of weddings, conferences, private parties, and restaurant bookings.
Operational Leadership: Lead hospitality operations during events to guarantee exceptional service and step up to manage the department in the absence of the Hospitality Manager.
Team Support: Assist with recruitment activities, including interviewing prospective team members.
Stock & Control: Manage bar stock ordering and maintain effective inventory control processes.
Standards & Readiness: Ensure all hospitality and public areas are presented to an impeccable standard, supporting cleaning and operational readiness activities.
Experience: Previous experience working in a customer-facing hospitality or events environment, with essential experience in bar operations.
Technical Skills: Computer literate, with the ability to use operational and administrative systems effectively.
Qualifications: A Level 2 Food Safety qualification is desirable.
Work Style: Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and late-night events, with the ability to remain resilient, calm, and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
Competitive Pay: £27,453.23 – £28,185.32 per annum plus excellent benefits.
