Your Role: What You’ll Do

As a Day & Night Care Assistant, you will experience the best of both worlds—providing energetic, engaging support during the day, and peaceful, reassuring care overnight.

• During Day Shifts: Support residents with personal care routines (washing, dressing, hygiene), assist with delicious meals, and help organize fun daily activities that keep residents active and happy.

• During Night Shifts: Maintain a peaceful, secure environment. Carry out regular safety checks, assist residents who wake during the night with warm drinks or reassurance, and help prepare them for a comfortable morning.

• Encourage Independence: Empower residents to make their own choices at any hour, helping them feel confident, respected, and in control.

• Companionship & Trust: Build warm, trusting relationships that bring comfort to our residents and peace of mind to their families.

• Person-Centred Care: Contribute to and update digital care plans, ensuring each resident’s unique routines and wishes are carefully followed.
