About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Co-op to recruit a dynamic and motivated Customer Team Leader for their busy store on Buxton Road in Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith.

This is a fantastic stepping stone toward store management. You will lead a small, close-knit team in a fast-paced retail environment, delivering essential services and ensuring a great shopping experience for the local community.

• Working Pattern: Closing shifts from mid-afternoon through to late evening. Will include at least 1 weekend shift which will require flexible availability (to be discussed further at interview).

• Key Responsibilities: Own the day-to-day running of the store during your shift, motivate and coach team members, manage merchandising and stock accuracy, and authorize age-related sales.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management skills (prior retail management experience is welcome, but not essential—full training is provided).

• Age Requirement: You must be aged 18 or older to authorize age-related sales.

• Location: You must live within a commutable distance of Chapel-en-le-Frith.
