Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit two passionate, motivated, and dedicated permanent Recovery Coordinators to join their team at HMP Portland in Dorset.
In this vital custodial role, you will help individuals overcome drug and alcohol challenges with dignity, respect, and personalised care. By building trusting relationships, delivering engaging group sessions and workshops, and implementing tailored recovery plans, you will empower service users to reduce harm, build resilience, and achieve lasting recovery and social reintegration. (Note: This position is based fully within the prison environment and is not suitable for hybrid or remote working).
Caseload & Care Planning: Build positive, trusting relationships with service users, completing comprehensive assessments, personalised recovery plans, and referrals.
Group Facilitation: Deliver engaging group sessions and workshops that encourage active participation and personal growth.
Harm Reduction & Reintegration: Support individuals to reduce substance-related harm, promote independence, and foster successful social reintegration.
Collaborative Working: Work closely alongside healthcare professionals and partner agencies to ensure holistic, person-centred support.
Experience & Knowledge: Practical experience working in substance misuse, criminal justice, mental health, or a related support field.
Core Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a collaborative, person-centred approach.

Requirements: Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK. Please note: This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and requires successful completion of HMPPS security clearance.
