Key Responsibilities
Deliver high standards of personal care throughout the night, assisting residents with personal hygiene while ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
Monitor and recognize clinical risk areas (such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, or signs of infection) and escalate any concerns in a timely manner.
Act courteously and respectfully toward residents, visitors, and colleagues, maintaining safe systems of work across all nightly tasks.
Adapt flexibly to cover a range of care responsibilities across the home as required.
Person Specification & Requirements
Experience: Previous experience is not required, as Avery Healthcare provides a thorough induction and professional training programme to ensure your complete confidence on shift.
Core Skills & Qualities: Effective verbal and written communication skills, initiative, efficiency, and a natural alignment with Avery's values of being caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable.
Compliance: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required (cost met by Avery Healthcare) along with proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
