The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will act as a vital link between the main kitchen and our residents, helping our chefs deliver delicious, person-centred meals and memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs in plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and ensuring all preparation areas are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic.

• Monitor stock rotation while complying with company policies, COSHH, and HACCP guidelines.

• Assist with catering for special events and community celebrations, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.

• Collaborate closely with wider kitchen and care home teams to ensure residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.

What We Are Looking For

• A genuine passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen environment.

• A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent).

• Excellent communication skills, an organised approach, and a warm, customer-focused attitude toward residents.

• Note: Please be aware that this role is not at or above RQF Level 3 and is ineligible for sponsorship under the UK's Points-Based Immigration System.
