At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting a permanent Night Care Assistant on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the team at Whitewater Place Care Home in Odiham.
In this essential nocturnal role, you will help maintain a quiet, safe, and comfortable environment for residents throughout the night. From supporting bedtime routines and overnight care needs to assisting with personal hygiene, hydration, and comforting companionship, your presence ensures every resident feels secure and well cared for.
Key Responsibilities
Overnight Care & Comfort: Assist residents with evening routines, night-time mobility, personal hygiene, and settling into bed.
Regular Monitoring: Perform routine night checks to ensure resident safety, comfort, and wellbeing.
Care Plan Compliance: Follow individualized care plans closely and keep clear, accurate night records for handovers.
Reassuring Companionship: Provide warm, immediate support and a reassuring presence to residents who wake or feel anxious overnight.
About You
Experience: Prior experience caring for older adults (in a care setting or personal capacity).
Key Strengths: Patient, compassionate, empathetic, and effective in communication.
Core Qualities: Dependable, warm-hearted, and comfortable working a consistent night shift pattern.
