About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Branston to recruit a dedicated and organized Transport Coordinator for their site in Nocton.
In this vital day-shift role, you will be the backbone of the transport department, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely movement of freight across the supply chain. Working within a fast-paced environment, your strong planning abilities and proactive approach will help keep daily transport operations running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all transport activities strictly adhere to safety regulations, driver legislation, and compliance standards.
Driver Management: Conduct driver briefs and debriefs, supply correct paperwork and vehicles, and keep driver documentation and boxes up to date.
Operations & Scheduling: Coordinate day-to-day transport activities, plan and update TIMS for Tesco deliveries, and arrange consumable collections.
Cross-Department Communication: Liaise with the nightly despatch team to coordinate collections and deliveries, work closely with vehicle technicians, and collaborate with agencies regarding working hours and timesheets.
Skills & Experience Required
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel.
Solid understanding and knowledge of driver and vehicle legislation.
